Section - Frotzing

[A testing command to turn the lights on in the basement.]

Frotzing is an action applying to nothing.

Understand "frotz" as frotzing.

Check frotzing:

if the west basement switch is switched on:

say "The lights are already on." instead.

Carry out frotzing:

now Hall4 is lighted;

now Hall3 is brightly lit;

now Hall2 is brightly lit;

now Storage East is lighted;

now Storage West is lighted;

now Sanctuary is brightly lit;

now Altar is brightly lit;

now the west basement switch is switched on.

Report frotzing:

say "The lights are now on!"

Defrotzing is an action applying to nothing.

Understand "unfrotz" and "defrotz" as defrotzing.

Check defrotzing:

if the west basement switch is switched off:

say "The lights are already off." instead.

Carry out defrotzing:

now Hall4 is dark;

now Hall3 is dimly lit;

now Hall2 is dimly lit;

now Storage West is dark;

now Storage East is dark;

unless Ghostly Apparition has ended:

now Sanctuary is dimly lit;

now Altar is dimly lit;

now the west basement switch is switched off.

Report defrotzing:

say "The lights are now off again!"
